Michele McKenzie

Prior to ALI, Michele McKenzie led the Canadian Tourism Commission, developing strategies resulting in Canada’s ranking as the world’s most respected country brand. Ms. McKenzie worked with USAID on tourism and economic advancement initiatives in the Middle East, and has contributed expertise assessing the impact of poverty alleviation programs in developing countries.

As an ALI Fellow, she hopes to establish a philanthropic effort designed to link talent and expertise to areas of tourism development need in emerging economies.
