Prior to ALI, Lieutenant General (Retired) Jack Gardner served in command positions leading NATO and American forces stationed in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia, culminating in his role as deputy commander of the U.S. European Command. Mr. Gardner co-founded Luminary, a developer of artificial intelligence software, and founded the 21st Century Job Skills Project, a nonprofit linking public education with job skill training for urban youth.
