John Vermilye
2017 ALI Fellow
Prior to ALI, John Vermilye founded Travel Sentry, collaborating with the TSA, lock manufacturers and luggage companies to develop a global standard for luggage locks. Mr. Vermilye has led teams at the TSA, IATA and Eastern Airlines and has been at the forefront of airline baggage operations, standards and security.
As an ALI Fellow, he hopes to explore the feasibility of a common charter to connect and encourage collaboration among competing marine conservation organizations.
