Cristiana Chamorro

Prior to ALI, Cristiana Chamorro founded and served as the executive director of the Violeta Chamorro Foundation, a nonprofit promoting democracy in Nicaragua through the protection of free speech and civic initiatives for social and political change. Ms. Chamorro has been active as a columnist for La Prensa, Nicaragua’s most-read newspaper, and serves as its vice president and on its board of directors.
