Charles Lin
2019 ALI Fellow
Charles Lin brings to ALI experience in weather and climate science. A professor at McGill University and University of Toronto, he served as a department chair at McGill. He was also a director general in Environment and Climate Change Canada of the Canadian federal government, where he led the department’s research in weather, climate and air quality science.
Charles is the founder and lead of Impact Net Zero, an outreach initiative on climate change and energy transition for the Canadian public. He also works with several Canadian universities on different climate change projects.
