Julie Allen

Prior to ALI, Julie Allen served as partner at Proskauer Rose, an international law firm where she co-chaired the global capital markets practice and held leadership roles as hiring partner and as a member of the new business and risk management committees. Earlier she was a partner at the New York firm of O’Sullivan Graev & Karabell after beginning her legal career at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft.
Julie currently serves as the board chair of Read Ahead, a reading-based mentoring organization focusing on New York City’s underserved public grammar school children. She was also involved with Proskauer’s pro bono and corporate social responsibility initiatives, including working with the Bowery Mission Women’s Shelter in Harlem, the Fresh Air Fund’s young women’s leadership group, and the Legal Aid Society’s immigration rights hotline.
