Prior to ALI, Martin Goldstein served as CEO of MHG Consulting providing corporate, business development and intellectual property consulting to developing biotechnology companies. He has spent over thirty-five years in senior operational and board roles at early stage biotechnology companies. Martin was a founder and CEO of ViroLogic, a clinical laboratory guiding the treatment of HIV-infected patients.
Martin’s community activities included tutoring under-served youth in KIPP public charter schools; funding college students through the SQB Scholarship Fund of SquashBusters, an after-school program for young people in urban public schools; mentoring women at Women’s Technology Cluster (aka Astia), a San Francisco-based nonprofit promoting women’s success in high-growth startups; and serving as a trustee of the Crystal Springs Uplands School and Peninsula Temple Beth-El.
