Haifa Dia Al-Attia

Haifa Dia Al-Attia brings to ALI deep experience increasing access to and reinventing education in her native Jordan and across the Arab world. Most recently, she led expansion of Luminus Education, a technical education and vocational training provider, and was CEO of its blended learning initiative. Haifa was active in formulating education policy in Jordan and was founding CEO of the Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development, an umbrella organization for eight independent NGOs introducing the first nonprofit MOOC platform in the Arab world with over 2 million learners. She serves on the steering committee of the Paris Peace Forum and panel of experts of Aurora Prize. She served on Jordan’s National Committee for Human Resources Development Strategy, and chaired both the Jordan Education Initiative and Queen Rania Teacher Academy.
