Mmakeaya Magoro Tryphosa Ramano

Tryphosa Ramano brings to ALI deep multi-sector financial leadership experience, serving as chief financial officer of PPC, South Africa’s largest cement manufacturer, South African Airways, and WIPHOLD, South Africa’s premier black woman-owned investment company. She also leads the asset liability group within South Africa’s Treasury and serves on numerous public and private company boards; she is currently a board member of South African Reserve Bank.
Tryphosa has a passion for uplifting young professional Black women, which she does through her role as chair of Young Leaders Connect, a mentoring initiative of the South African chapter of the International Women’s Forum, where she is a board member. She is the president of both African Women Chartered Accountants and the Association of Black Professionals, and a director of the Black Business Council.
