Jianming Xu

Prior to ALI, Jianming Xu was CEO of Century Securities, a Shenzhen, China-based securities firm. Earlier, he was vice general manager of Tang Investment Group (China), an equity investment management company, chief operating officer of Insigma Group, a leading information technology company in China with two publicly listed subsidiaries, general manager of the investment bank division at China Eagle, and general manager of several branches at Zhejiang Securities, one of China’s first securities firms.
As CEO of Century Securities, Jianming led a poverty reduction initiative in Yudu County, Jiangxi Province to provide financial knowledge for officials and entrepreneurs, improve elementary schools, and support those in need. He spent the first eight years of his career as a high school physics teacher. He was also a member of China’s rusticated youth.
