Erlan Sagadiev

Prior to ALI, Erlan Sagadiev was minister of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the state authority responsible for education, science, and the protection of children’s rights and youth policy. His government experience also includes service as vice minister of investment and development, vice minister of industry and new technologies, and advisor to the prime minister.
Earlier, Erlan was the CEO of Frontier Mining, a publicly listed, UK-based copper mining entity operating in the Commonwealth of Independent States, and the co-founder and president of FoodMaster Company, which he grew into the largest dairy producer in Kazakhstan. He co-founded and ran as president the International IT University and the University of International Business, both in Almaty.
