Jacobo Gelman

Prior to ALI, Jack Gelman was founder, chairman, and CEO of Grupo Forestal Soledad/ PROPULSO, a Venezuelan forest products company, and financial advisor of Elmo International Finance, an asset management firm based in Zurich. As an entrepreneur, he founded and led as CEO a furniture manufacturing and housing construction business after beginning his career as an engineer in Israel.
Jack is a board member of investment firms funding renewable and clean energy technologies, including solar farms. He is the founder of nutrition, education, leadership, and reproductive-health initiatives focused on the youth population in economically disadvantaged regions in and around the southern Venezuelan city of Soledad.
