Jennifer Gersbeck

Prior to ALI, Jennifer Gersbeck was recognized as a global leader in the eye health and international development sectors. She led global partnerships and advocacy at The Fred Hollows Foundation, an Australia-based international aid organization focused on ending avoidable blindness in developing Pacific, Asian, and African countries. Earlier as CEO of Vision 2020 Australia, she helped establish Australia as the global leader in the prevention of blindness, brought vision care programs to the country’s underserved indigenous population, and established an international consortium to fund, establish, and deliver eye health programs across the Asia Pacific region. She is a trustee and executive committee member of the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness.
