David Cifrino

David Cifrino brings to ALI significant legal experience in corporate governance and securities law. He was partner, founder, and co-chair of the public companies practice and pro bono committee member at the international law firm McDermott Will & Emery. Earlier, David held several positions in broadcast journalism, most notably as producer and manager of the Boston bureau of CBS News.
David is a trustee and past chairman of the nominating and corporate governance committees of The Carroll Center for the Blind, one of the world’s preeminent blindness rehabilitation centers. He also served as the president of the Eastern New England chapter of the Society for Corporate Governance, a nonprofit network of corporate secretaries and general counsel promoting responsible governance at public, private, and nonprofit organizations.
