Judith Brown Clarke

Dr. Judi Brown Clarke brings to ALI a portfolio of multi-sector leadership experiences. The chief diversity officer and vice president of equity and inclusion at Stony Brook University, she previously served as diversity director of a five-member bio-computational evolution research consortium housed at Michigan State University and funded by the National Science Foundation. Judi was elected to and served four years on the Lansing, Michigan City Council, holding the roles of council vice president and president during her tenure. Earlier, she served as a child protective services investigator in Michigan’s Department of Human Services, following a decorated track career which saw her earn an Olympic silver medal, multiple Pan Am gold medals, a world record, and an NCAA championship.
