Jane Armstrong

Jane Armstrong brings to ALI expertise in education sector leadership. She founded and is managing partner of Independent Thinking, an executive search firm working with independent schools and their boards across the U.S. in hiring academic leaders. Previously Jane held academic administration leadership positions in fundraising and student and residence life, and began her career in the education sector as an English teacher and athletic coach. She is a trustee of School One in Providence, Rhode Island, a past trustee of The Bartlett School in Waltham, Massachusetts, and for many years coached youth basketball and lacrosse teams, co-founding the Newton (MA) Girls Lacrosse League.

Jane joins her partner, Jamey Rosenfield, as an Advanced Leadership Partner.
