Zhilei (Ray) Tong

Zhilei (Ray) Tong brings to ALI Leadership experience in technology and intellectual property sectors. Zhilei founded the COL Group, a digital publishing business in China, where he now serves as chairman and CEO. The company was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2015, gaining recognition as China’s first digital publishing stock. Zhilei established the “Chinese Online Anti-Piracy Union” to promote the development of copyright protection in China.

Ray is co-founder of the non-profit organization, Beijing Well-being Foundation (BWF). BWF initiated the Happy Gardener project, aimed at providing positive education training for K-12 teachers; the project has had a significant impact, benefiting 580,000 teachers and enriching the education of 4.9 million students.
