Sarah Young

Sarah Young brings to ALI global experience as an entrepreneur, business leader, and investor. She bought, scaled, and sold an advisory company to Canada’s largest PR firm, becoming a managing partner and global head of talent. Sarah stepped into a leading role in the national inquiry into Canada’s largest mass shooting. She also co-founded Sandpiper Ventures, the first all-woman GP led venture capital fund in Canada where she invests in high-performing women founders often overlooked by traditional investors.

Sarah was a founding member of Nova Scotia’s Blue Nose Marathon and has served on the boards of the YMCA and the Trans Canada Trail. Sarah has also served on boards and advisory committees for Mount Allison University, Dalhousie University, and Creative Destruction Lab among other private and public organizations.
